The Agent Status is there to guide the user attention on the agents with the most issues to help pin-point the root cause as soon as possible.

In the application, there are three agent status: 

  • Red - Most of the monitoring sessions are down, check this first!
  • Green - Everything is good
  • Grey - Agent not configured, not working or unknown status

The Red Status

The Agent Status is Red when the agent is not connected to the Cloud Platform.

The Green Status

The Agent Status is Green when the agent is connected to the Cloud Platform.

The Grey Status

The Agent Status is Grey when the Agent is not working properly or is an unknown state. For example, the Agent Status is set to Grey when:

  • The Agent is not installed
  • The Agent Software Upgrade is in process
  • The Agent is set to maintenance mode
