The Obkio SaaS Architecture

Obkio was designed to be easy to install and simple to use. The Obkio Architecture is SaaS based and includes 3 core components: The Cloud, The App, and The Agent.

Once deployed, you install and forget! The app and agents require no maintenance, and will auto-update when needed. You can also manage and keep track of all elements directly from the Obkio app.

Obkio is SaaS-based, which means that it stores all information directly in the Obkio Cloud. The Obkio Cloud is operated using AWS services.

The Obkio Application, often referred as The Obkio App, is a web and mobile application used by users to configure and visualize network performance data. Once the Monitoring Agents are installed, all the configuration and management is done through the App.

Almost all features are available on all versions of the Obkio App.

The Mobile App allows you to see and analyze your network performance data on-the-go. Make sure the mobile app is kept up-to-date to benefit from all the new features, performance improvements and bug fixes.

That being said, the Web Application is often a step ahead regarding the fixes since it gets updated a few times every week.

Obkio Monitoring Agents are a unique software developed by Obkio to continuously measure network and application performance.

Install Monitoring Agents at key network locations, and the Agent will continuously monitor network performance every 500ms, and keep themselves updated automatically.
